At the MENA Fintech Association (MFTA) we passionately believe that the Fintech ecosystem is uniquely positioned to put technology at the service of purposeful change.

That’s why at the beginning of the year we launched the Sustainable Fintech Alliance with the mission of helping our members create positive impacts in the face of the increasingly urgent environmental and social challenges of today.

DAWG is a core working group within the MENA Fintech Association (MFTA), focused on advancing blockchain, digital assets, stablecoins, and regulation. It brings together industry leaders to drive innovation, enhance regulatory clarity, and shape the future of DeFi and Web3 in the region.

The group advocates responsible adoption, supports scalable blockchain solutions, and collaborates with policymakers to ensure innovation and stability.

Through research, knowledge-sharing, and strategic dialogue, DAWG aims to position MENA as a leader in the digital asset economy.

The Policy & Regulations working group at MFTA focuses on shaping a balanced regulatory environment that supports innovation while ensuring compliance. It serves as a platform for dialogue among regulators, financial institutions, and fintech leaders.

By tackling regulatory challenges and fostering collaboration, the group promotes transparent and secure financial systems and advocates for policies that enable fintech growth and consumer protection.

Through research and cross-industry engagement, it helps define the future of fintech regulation in the MENA region.

BRIDGE, a working group under MFTA, focuses on fintech branding, marketing, and lead generation. It brings together marketers, fintech leaders, and growth strategists to drive trust, engagement, and expansion.

As fintech rapidly evolves, BRIDGE explores digital marketing, content strategy, and community engagement to boost visibility and customer acquisition.

Through collaboration and thought leadership, BRIDGE empowers fintechs to stand out in a competitive market and elevate marketing across the MENA region.

Future of Finance & AI (FoF & AI) is a pioneering working group under the MENA Fintech Association (MFTA), dedicated to exploring the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on financial services. The group brings together thought leaders, technologists, and policy experts to shape the future of finance through cutting-edge innovation, responsible AI deployment, and strategic collaboration.

The group focuses on driving AI adoption across banking, payments, wealth management, compliance, and risk—ensuring that solutions are ethical, scalable, and aligned with evolving regulatory standards.

FoF & AI serves as a hub for insights and innovation, leading high-impact research, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and ecosystem events. It aims to empower the region’s financial sector to harness AI for inclusion, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
