PayTabs Egypt has announced a strategic partnership with Edita Trade, a subsidiary of Edita Food, one of Egypt’s leading packaged snack manufacturers, to modernise and streamline cash collection operations across the country.
Under the agreement, PayTabs Egypt’s cash collection solution will be integrated into Edita’s nationwide distribution network, enabling seamless payment flows between field representatives and end-point distributors.
Through the partnership, Edita gains access to more than 550,000 points-of-sale (POS) machines across Egypt, enabled through four major cash aggregators. This allows the company to accept and manage distributor payments at scale through a single, unified payment platform.
By using PayTabs Egypt’s integrated infrastructure, Edita can collect payments nationwide without the operational complexity of managing multiple aggregators independently. The solution is designed to deliver real-time transaction visibility, enhanced reporting capabilities, and improved cash flow management, while reducing reliance on traditional cash collection methods.
