Fortinet advances security operations platform with unified SOC and agentic AI

Sunnyvale, Calif. – March 10, 2026

Fortinet announced key innovations to its Security Operations platform at Accelerate 2026 in Las Vegas, previewing FortiSOC unified SOC, expanding agentic AI in FortiAI, enhancing FortiGuard SOC-as-a-Service, and unifying endpoint security via FortiEndpoint. The updates unify cloud SOC, AI, detection, and protection in one Security Fabric to counter AI threats, cut complexity, and address skills gaps.

Announcement Specifics

FortiSOC integrates FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR, and FortiTIP into a cloud service supporting log ingestion, normalization, correlation, automation, case management, behavioral analytics, and identity investigations via a unified data model. It incorporates third-party telemetry, AI/ML, and built-in SOC best practices with elastic scaling and simplified licensing. Future updates will add endpoint and CTEM features.

FortiAI enables agentic workflows across tools, automating triage, investigation, threat hunting, and using Model Context Protocol for continuity. FortiEndpoint consolidates ZTNA, SASE, EPP, EDR, and DLP in one agent, adding FortiAI for AI app visibility and control to curb risks. FortiGuard SOC-as-a-Service gains third-party logs, more integrations, FortiNDR, and FortiCNAPP for hybrid visibility.

Stakeholder Perspective

“As attackers weaponize AI to accelerate reconnaissance, exploit development, and social engineering, security operations must function with the same speed and coordination. Fortinet is advancing a unified, AI-powered security operations platform that provides a scalable operating architecture across our defense framework, enabling organizations to build, extend, or optimize their SOC through a single architecture spanning self-managed, cloud, and managed deployments.”

— Ken Xie, Founder, Chairman, and CEO at Fortinet

Why it matters: This highlights scalability amid surging threats as enterprises face mounting pressure from AI-accelerated attacks.

Industry Context

Enterprises globally grapple with fragmented security tools, AI-driven attacks, and SOC staffing shortages. Fortinet’s platform streamlines operations across the kill chain, addressing critical gaps in detection and response capabilities. For MENA fintech hubs in Dubai and Riyadh, the unified AI-driven SecOps platform aids compliance with regional regulatory frameworks, protects high-volume transactions, and scales for regional expansion—building on partnerships like Ooredoo that strengthen the cybersecurity posture across the region’s rapidly digitizing financial services sector.

Conclusion

These enhancements enable faster, scalable defense against evolving threats. Fortinet continues to develop further FortiSOC integrations, empowering enterprises and MENA fintechs to match attacker speed and sophistication.
