Established in July 2023, the Africa Committee is chaired by Yacine Faqir and Karima El Hakim. Acting as a bridge between Africa and the Middle East, the Africa Chapter and Committee facilitates meaningful engagements among fintech professionals and stakeholders. This chapter focuses on empowering and supporting the fintech ecosystem throughout Africa. By leveraging MFTA’s vast network and resources, the chapter aims to drive innovation, facilitate collaboration, and foster sustainable growth in the African fintech industry. The chapter addresses key topics such as digital transformation, e-commerce, payments, policy and regulation, and cybersecurity.
